Predisposing, precipitating and perpetuating factors pertaining to host, external environment and clinical diseases interact to impact upon the development of depression, psychological health, health-related behavior and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes

Objectives

		To document the prevalence and diagnosis rates of depression in T2DM patients in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing
		To document the predisposing, precipitating and perpetuating factors for depression and their interrelationships in Chinese T2DM patients
